Father’s Day.

I wasn’t able to write down a blog effectively, so I thought I should rather write down a poem.

A Father is supposed to play the role of the tough parent,

The one who would scold the kid on making a mistake.

He sets up the rules of the house,

Making sure that the discipline is maintained!

On his arrival the entire house goes silent,

Whose one look would be enough to put kids to bed!

Well, I feel with changing times, fathers are changing too,

Now a father is a part of almost every prank a child pulls,

He is the one who spoils his kids by getting everything in full.

He is now the new secret keeper,

The new defender from Maa’s daatt.

Now, there is excitement when he arrives home,

Making kids ready to have fun.

A lot of things haven’t changed,

He still thinks of his kids first,

No longer letting his anger balloon burst.

He still feels worried for his kids,

But tells them all will be fine.

His fear hasn’t left him yet,

But he still appears the strongest man.

            Every child’s super hero,

            Every child’s role model,

That is none other than every child’s Paa!

A very Happy Father’s Day to all the Paas out there. If you are a kid reading my blog, please wish your Paa a very very very Happy Father’s Day on my behalf.
