Starting as a baby girl,
I just knew I was a princess,
Princess to Paa, Maa and the rest of the family.
Starting as a girl,
I understood I was no longer a princess,
For my friends and the rest of the family.
Teen I turned,
And realized,
There was no such thing as princess,
Outside the world of fantasy.
Teen, I continued,
Yet to discover a lot,
Discover changes,
Discover truths,
Discover partiality,
Discover faith!
The Faith- that my parents have in me,
The Faith- of my siblings in me,
The Faith- to believe in me,
The Faith- to lead the world.
Yet today,
I stand here, alone,
Fighting patriarchy,
Fighting to emerge victorious,
Fighting to be the QUEEN!
As Nineteen,
I now believe in fantasies to be true!
